The chapters in this volume have exceeded our expectations—we have learned much and hope that readers have, too. The chapters on specific domains of psychology are excellent, and the chapters on specific methods are superb. Further, the articles devoted to new statistical approaches for measurement are cutting edge and can help most researchers catch up with the field. In what follows, we outline several of the major points we take from this volume.
