Deletion of the short arm of chromosome 10 is uncommon. Affected individuals have growth retardation and microcephaly. Facial features include frontal bossing, low nasal root, anteverted nares, micrognathia, dysplastic ears, and a short neck. Wide-spaced nipples and cardiac and genitourinary malformations may also occur. Ophthalmic features include hyper-telorism, downslanting and/or narrowing of the palpebral fissures, epicanthus, strabismus, blepharoptosis, and corneal opacities.84,141,182,343
