Analgesia: Loss of appreciation of pain sensation

Anesthesia: Loss of appreciation of all forms of sensation

Dysesthesia: An unpleasant and abnormal response to an innocuous stimulus

Hypalgesia: Decreased appreciation of pain sensation

Hyperesthesia: Abnormally increased sensitivity to any stimulus

Hyperpathia: Abnormally increased sensitivity to a pain stimulus

Hypoesthesia: Decreased appreciation of all forms of sensation

Paresthesia: An abnormal, spontaneous sensation (eg, tingling or crawling)
