Complications such as hydronephrosis or caliceal rupture can also be documented. In addition, CT is very good at finding other diseases that can mimic renal colic such as diverticulitis, appendicitis, or ap-pendagitis. Paul is quite satisfied with his findings: several calculi are present that have not passed yet. One of them is stuck at the left ureterovesicular junction. The patient will be referred to urology service for further management.
