Plexiform neurofibroma: Finally, a plexiform neurofibroma of the orbit is one of the hallmarks of neurofibromatosis (Fig. 13.23). It manifests during late childhood and frequently also involves the eyelids and the other neighboring soft tissues.

• Diagnosis: On the basis of clinical history and the MR images, Paul and Joey favor typical endocrine ophthalmopathy as the diagnosis. They are right. Radiation therapy may start now.
